JHJ Group Guidelines
Welcome to JHJ, a private group for jewelers to support each other. This is a free speech group with minimal rules, but they are important:
- Keep discussions jewelry-related.
- No buying, selling, or sourcing lab-grown diamonds.
Membership & Conduct
- Aleah or Admins reserve the right to deny membership to anyone at her discretion and may remove members at any time if it's in the group's best interest.
- By joining, members agree not to hold Aleah liable for anything that occurs within the group. Aleah dislikes legal disputes, so by joining, you agree not to sue her.
- If you encounter posts you find offensive, remember this group values free speech. If something bothers you, just scroll past it, or block the poster to avoid seeing their future content!
- For any concerns about defamatory content, notify Aleah first. Aleah reserves the right to remove any post or member she deems false or defamatory.
- Unless Aleah or Olympian Diamonds explicitly endorse something, they do not support or approve of it.
- All statements in the group are opinions, not facts. Aleah is only an expert in diamonds, so please don't hold her to expert standards in other areas.
Group Rules
- Do not start your own group based on JHJ without permission. Also, do not contact members privately to start a new group.
- This group is funded by sponsored posts.
- To join, you must be a jeweler, a training jeweler, a supplier, or directly related to the jewelry industry.
Buying, Selling, Trading
- You may buy, sell, or trade precious and semi-precious faceted loose gemstones (including opals), diamonds, and parcels of gemstones.
- Discussions and articles related to the gem trade are encouraged.
- Aleah, Olympian Diamonds, or any moderator is not responsible for the accuracy of any listing. Buyers should thoroughly research and make informed inquiries before purchasing.
- Sellers and items for sale are not formally vetted by the group admins. All members must comply with consumer guidelines and applicable laws and regulations.
- Any post or listing that violates laws, regulations, or social decorum may be deleted by admins without warning. If you're unsure about a rule, contact a group administrator.
- Admins have the authority to delete any post they feel is inappropriate or doesn't align with the above guidelines.
